The Lodge feels more like a private residence than a "facility," and that's the way we like it. Different locations offer you and your guests many options. Rather than spend your entire event in one room, wander through beautiful interior spaces and colorful gardens where different activities can happen, and which you can "unveil" as the event goes on.
Fireplace Entry
A beautiful river rock fireplace and Brazilian slate floor welcome you as you enter the Lodge. Stained glass, wrought iron accents, custom furnishings, and a hand hewn mantle piece add warmth and style.
Main Dining Room
Like the entire Lodge, it features an expanse of beautiful, new Douglas Fir floor offering broad flexibility for arranging tables, dancing, wedding cake display, a buffet set up, and anything else you can imagine. Five stained glass panels at the head of the room depict grapevines and flowers, adding a warm glow. Large Craftsman chandeliers above and wall sconces all around can be adjusted to create your desired ambience.
2 Banquet Rooms
These two rooms can be separated by a movable wood partition or opened into one large room. This is usually where buffet tables are set up (so the buffet line is nicely separated from the tables in the Main Dining Room. It also becomes the primary dance floor, close enough for everyone to see but just far enough away so that you can still talk at the dining room tables. We've had 6-piece rock bands in here.
Wine & Beverage Bar
Enjoy your beverages of choice surrounded by warm wood paneling, our slate-topped bar with traditional brass footrail, wine country themed stained glass, and the soothing sounds of our slate and copper waterfall. The bar area opens onto the always popular Grapevine Deck where guests often go to get away from the action, enjoy a fine cigar and a glass of port, or simply venture outside for a breath of fresh air.
Grapevine Deck
Spanning the entire north side of the Lodge, this deck is a viewing gallery for the largest and oldest grapevines in
North America
. These magnificent vines provide delicious, cooling shade in the summer, and the perfect location for your guests to queue just before the garden ceremony. For most of the year, the giant grape arbor becomes a lush green canopy covering the entire roadway.
Garden Patio
After the ceremony, your guests can mingle here with beverages and passed hors d'oeuvres while you snap your final family photos. Guests love to have a comfortable, natural place to chat together before going inside for the dinner and dancing.
Bridal Changing Room
This lovely room features a private full bathroom, full-length mirrors, comfortable furniture, and all the privacy and solitude you need throughout the day of your event.
Kitchen
The kitchen is designed to accommodate a 200-seat restaurant. It is available to your caterers, creating more menu opportunities for freshly prepared foods than most other facilities.
